I can't recommend Battlebox Gym enough. The entire team, Sue, Paul, Emily, and Katie, are great. From day one, they've made me feel welcome, and they do a fantastic job of creating an inclusive environment for people of all different fitness levels.
As coaches, they are awesome. They genuinely care about your progress and always take the time to help you perfect your technique, ensuring you're training safely and effectively. The workouts themselves are excellent and always varied, so you never get bored and are constantly challenged.

Having trained alone in my garage for the last 4 years, I was craving something more challenging. After doing some research I reached out to Battlebox and Sue offered a call right away. We spent ages talking, she really listened to my needs and worries and was just really supportive. I joined a little while later and I am just so glad I did! I was apprehensive at first, worried about appearing inexperienced, but I needn't have worried! It is the least intimidating place I've been, everybody is on their own journey and with different abilities and there's just a really positive good vibe of respect and support amongst one another, the opposite of what I used to experience at local gyms! I can honestly say it's quickly become a safe haven for me. It's physically rewarding but most importantly mentally rewarding too. Sue, Paul, Emily and Katie are all pros and I've been so appreciative of all their guidance, support and encouragement! Not at all. Many of our members started with little or no experience. Every workout can be adjusted to suit your current fitness level, and our coaches will guide you through everything step by step.
You’ll be welcomed by one of our coaches, shown around the gym, and guided through the session at your own pace. We focus heavily on movement quality and helping you feel comfortable from the start.
Yes. We run dedicated HYROX sessions each week focused on endurance, strength, race pacing, and HYROX-style workouts to help prepare you for events or improve your fitness.
Most members begin with three sessions per week to build consistency and recover properly. As your fitness improves, you can gradually increase your training volume-we find most fall in love with the training and community in the first month!
Yes. We have parking available, bus routes directly outside the gym, and we're only a short 7 minute walk from the Central Line tube station.
